Morphology
Symmetry and Form
Monad, radial_symmetry, isopolar, 3-colporate, (sub)circular to elliptic in equatorial_view, circular in polar_view.
Dimensions
Polar_Axis = 32-37 µm; Equatorial_Axis = 30-33 µm.
Apertures
Three colpora, colpus narrowed in the oral region, broadening toward polar_areas, Colpus apex obtuse or irregular or truncate, aperture_membrane granular (SEM), distance between the adjacent colpal apices 7.0-8.0 µm, margo undifferentiated, costae_colpi feeble; Os: ellipsoidal or rectangular, lalongate, oral_costae present(?).
Exine
Scabrate or finely granulo-rugulate under the LM; microperforate under the SEM, tectate, infratectum columellate, exine thickness at the mid-point of the intercolpium ±1.5 µm.
Remark
A stenopalynous genus
Tentative Pollen Typification
Canarium strictum type
