Diameter = 45-70 µm

Apertures

Inaperturate (no ectexinal apertural markings) or omniaperturate (any part capable of functioning as an exit for pollen tube)

Exine

Croton pattern: clavate, exine thickness +sculpture ±3.0-4.0 µm, intraluminal elements present

Remark

A stenopalynous genus characterised by Croton type of pollen; Croton pollen type (sensu Punt, W. 1962) in Blachia denudata, Dimorphocalyx lawianus, and Fahrenheitia zeylanica are also illustrated and described in this work
