Monad, radial_symmetry, isopolar, 3-colporate; elliptic ( E > P & E < P ) to spheroidal in equatorial_view; circular to subtriangular in polar_view

Polar_Axis = 25-28 µm; Equatorial_Axis = 28-33 µm

Apertures

Three colpora; Colpus: elliptic, protruding, colpus apex acute, aperture_membrane psilate, distance between the adjacent colpal apices ±10.0 µm, margo undifferentiated (diffuse in SEM of E.americanus in Lieux, M.H. 1983: Pl. C:78), periapertural thinning present, costae_colpi present(?); Os: ovoid to ellipsoidal (6.0x4.5 µm) with curved lateral apices, lalongate, oral_costae present(?)

Exine

Medium_reticulate, tectate, mur <1.0 µm, lumina <1.0-2.0 µm, infratectum columellate, exine thickness at the mid-point of the intercolpium ±2.0 µm
