Morphology
Symmetry and Form
Monad, radial_symmetry, isopolar, 3-porate; circular to elliptic ( E > P ) in equatorial_view; circular in polar_view
Dimensions
Polar_Axis = 36-44 µm; Equatorial_Axis = 38-44 µm
Apertures
Three pori; Porus: circular (diameter ±4.0 µm), within a mesh, annulus absent, interporal distance between the adjacent pores 20.0-22.0 µm; poral_costae indistinct
Exine
Coarsely_Reticulate (4.0-5.0 µm) with small meshes (1.5 µm) at the nodes of meshes, heterobrochate, tectate, infratectum distinctly simplicolumellate, exine thickness at the mid-point of the intercolpium ±5.0 µm
Remark
A eurypalynous genus [see Punt, W. (1978)]
Tentative Pollen Typification
Fagraea type X
