Three colpora, colpus elliptic, colpus apex acute, aperture_membrane psilate, distance between the adjacent colpal apices 5.0 µm, margo undifferentiated, costae_colpi present; Os: elliptic (4.5x180.0 µm) with irregular or wavy lateral ends, lalongate, oral_costae present

Exine

Micro-echinulate, tectate, spinule height <0.5 µm, infratectum columellate, exine thickness at the mid-point of the intercolpium ±1.2 µm; at poles ±1.5 µm

A stenopalynous genus

Tentative Pollen Typification

Macaranga type; 3 spp. Of Macaranga as Mallotus subtype (Punt, W. 1962)
