Dimensions

Polar_Axis = 20-32 µm; Equatorial_Axis = 17-29 µm

Apertures

Three to four-five (loxo- to stephano-) colpora; Colpus narrowly elliptic, obliquely oriented; colpal apex acute, aperture_membrane granular, distance between the adjacent colpal apices 6.0-11.0 µm, margo undifferentiated, costae_colpi present; Os: circular or oval [well-shown in turgid grains (SEM Fig. 5)], lolongate, oral_costae absent

Exine

Scabrate or feebly rugulate under the LM; microverrucae associated with tectal ridges are distinct under the SEM, tectate, infratectum columellate, endocracks present, exine thickness at the mid-point of the intercolpium 1.8-2.0 µm

Remark

A stenopalynous genus [see Vasanthy, G. & Pocock, S.A.J. (1981)]
