Monad, bilateral_symmetry, heteropolar, monosulcate (monocolpate), elliptic in proximo-distal view, and profile view.
Dimensions
Length = 38-57 µm; Width = 20-33 µm.
Apertures
Monosulcus; Sulcus elliptic, sulcus apex acute, sulcus margin undifferentiated, sulcus membrane psilate.
Exine
Apparently intectate, scabrate or granular(?), ectexinal layers indistinguishable under LM; exine thickness ±1.0 µm.
Remark
A stenopalynous genus (see Praglowski, J. 1974).
Tentative Pollen Typification
Michelia type.
