Monad, radial_symmetry, isopolar, 3-colporate; spheroidal in equatorial_view; circular in polar_view.

Dimensions

Polar_Axis = 27-31 µm; Equatorial_Axis = 25-29 µm.

Apertures

Three colpora, colpus elliptic, intruding, colpus apex obtuse, aperture_membrane psilate, distance between the adjacent colpal apices ±10.0 µm, margo undifferentiated, costae_colpi absent; Os: ovoid to ellipsoidal with curved lateral apices, lolongate, oral_costae absent.

Exine

Medium_reticulate, heterobrochate, tectate, mur ±0.5 µm, lumina <1.0-3.0 µm, infratectum columellate, exine thickness at the mid-point of the intercolpium ±2.0 µm.

Remark

A stenopalynous genus.

Tentative Pollen Typification

Tricalysia type.
