Description
The manuscript, in excellent condition, contains a text consisting of 19 palm leaves numbered from 1 to 19, followed of an additional leaf, the content of which being not understandable. The text which ends with an avocation to the guru (implicitly, the master from whom the practitioner acquired his/her knowledge) is incomplete. Entitled Aṭaṅkal Tiṟavukōl, it describes the location in the body of some vital spots (aṭaṅkal). They concern : katir narampu aṭaṅkal and peru narampu aṭaṅkal (narampu means nerve); ātāra aṭaṅkal, uyar nilai aṭaṅkal, kōri vāri aṭaṅkal, piṟatārai aṭaṅkal, vāḷaviḻi aṭaṅkal, piḷḷai aṭaṅkal and carvāṅka aṭaṅkal.

1 முதல் 19 வரை எண் கொண்ட 19 ஓலைகளை உடைய ஒரு நூலாகும்.இது நல்ல நிலையில் உள்ள ஒரு சுவடியாகும்.இதில் ஒரு சுவடி அதிகமாக உள்ளது, ஆனால் அதில் உள்ள தகவல்கள் எதுவம் புரியவில்லை.குருவின் (அவரிடம் இருந்து வைத்தியர் பயிற்சி பெறுவார்) துணை தொழில் பற்றி கூறுவதாக முடியும் இந்த நூல் முழுமை இல்லாதது ஆகும்.அடங்கல் திறவுகோல் என்ற தலைப்புடைய இந்த நூல், அடங்கல் தளங்களை பற்றி விளக்குகிறது.அவை : கதிர் நரம்பு அடங்கல், பெரு நரம்பு அடங்கல், ஆதார அடங்கல், உயர் நிலை அடங்கல், கோரிவாரி அடங்கல், பிறதாரை அடங்கல், வாளவிழி அடங்கல், பிள்ளை அடங்கல் மற்றும் சர்வாங்க அடங்கல் ஆகும்
Extent and Format of Original Material
Size of the manuscript : 12,7cm x 2,7cm. The text is numbered from 1 to 19 in Tamil and Arab. There are a blank leaf and a last leaf on which is written an invocation to the guru. The manuscript is in excellent condition.
The manuscript contains 21 palm leaves of 10 to 12 lines per leaf. It has no wooden boards.

Mohana Raj acquired the manuscript, 10 years ago from Mr Vicēnti, both a teacher and a siddha practitioner, who resided in the village of Nadaikavu (Naṭaikkāvu, 5km from Muncirai).
