Description
The manuscript is composed of two texts, written in verses. The manuscript is in bad condition as the palm leaves of the second text are broken.
Text 1- Containing only 3 palm leaves, the text presents a medicinal formulation for preparing Tāmira parpam, and recommends some medicines for treating pitta kuṇa matam (a mental illness caused by pitta imbalance).
Text 2- The text is composed of 4 leaves among them the first is broken. It is entitled Akattiyar Paccai- 16, and concerns preparations of medicines for treating diseases stomach pain (vayiṟu vali), colic pain (cūlai), ascites (nīrāmai), a venereal disease (kiranti mēkam), fever (curam) and for stopping thirst (tākam pokku).

விருத்தம் வடிவில் எழுதப்பட்ட இரண்டு நூல்களை கொண்டது இந்த சுவடி.இந்த சுவடி மிகவும் மோசமான நிலையில் உள்ளது ஏனென்றால் இரண்டாம் நூலின் ஓலைகள் உடைந்து உள்ளன.
நூல் 1- 3 ஓலைகளை மட்டுமே கொண்டு, இந்த நூல் தாமிர பற்பத்தின் செய்முறையையும் மற்றும் பித்த குண மதம் என்ற நோய்க்கு மருந்து செய்முறையும் கூறுகிறது.
நூல் 2- இந்த 4 ஓலைகளால் ஆனது அவற்றில் முதல் ஓலை உடைந்து உள்ளது.அகத்தியர் பச்சை- 16 என்ற தலைப்புடைய இந்த நூல் வயிற்று வலி, சூலை, நீராமை, கிரந்தி மேகம், சுரம் மற்றும் தாகம் போக்க மருந்து செய்முறைகளை குறிப்பிடுகின்றது
Extent and Format of Original Material
Size of the manuscript : 32.5cm x 2.8cm. The manuscript is in bad condition; all the leaves are broken, damaged by rodents and very stained by fungus. The text 1 is constituted of 3 leaves without numbers and the text 2 of 4 leaves numbered from 1 to 4. A leaf is blank.
The manuscript contains 8 palm leaves of 10 to 12 lines per leaf. It has no wooden boards.
