This text relates the punishment by Cittira Kupta, a representative of Yamā, based on the sins of each individual. Cittirakupta is in charge of maintaining details of good and bad deeds of individuals during their life, and of determining reward or punishment after life.
The conclusion part of this epic is missing.

இந்த கட்டு மார்கண்டேயன் கதையின் நான்காம் பாகம் ஆகும்.44 ஓலைகள் கொண்ட இது ஒரு முழுமை இல்லா நூலாகும்.இந்த பாகம் சித்ரா புத்திரன் ஜீவன்களுகுரிய தண்டனை விதித்தல் வரை உள்ளது.கடைசி பகுதி இல்லை

Extent and Format of Original Material

Size of the manuscript : 60.3cm x 3.5cm. The condition of this part of manuscript is medium; two leaves only are broken but the manuscript is extremely fragile and breakable. The palm leaves are numbred from 5 to 49; the leaves 1 to 4 and 34 are missing.
The manuscript contains 45 palm leaves of 10 to 12 lines per leaf. It has no wooden boards.
