Description
The manuscript is composed of a text of 30 palm leaves, among them only two have a number. The text has been ordered according to the numbering of verses. Text is incomplete as many verses are missing. The state of the manuscript is excellent, with a few traces of larvae. However, the leaves were stuck by mould and they were separated without damage.
The text, entitled Cuntarāṉantar Kēcari, describes the preparation of a special medicine, not called, made up of bone of deer calcined several times with addition of plants and powdered. The author of the text, a renown cittar, claims that this product, consumed with other medicines during 48 days, enable a person to visualise Tevarkaḷ (semi-gods, usually invisible to common people) who were travelling in magical chariot (vimāṉam), and taken for more than 48 days increase the longevity of life.

30 ஓலைகளை கொண்ட ஒரு நூலை உடையது இந்த சுவடி, அவற்றில் இரண்டு ஓலைகளில் மட்டுமே எண்கள் உள்ளன.இதன் விருத்த எண்களை கொண்டு ஓலைகள் அடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.நிறைய விருத்தங்கள் காணப்படாததால் இது முழுமை இல்லா நூலாகும்.சில ஓலைகளில் சிறிதளவு பூச்சியால் அரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதை தவிர இந்த சுவடி மிகவும் நல்ல நிலையில் உள்ளது
சுந்தரானந்தர் கேசரி என்ற தலைப்புடைய இந்நூல் மான் எலும்புகளை சில மூலிகை சாற்றை தடவி உலர்ந்தி புடம் போட்டு தயாரிக்கப்படும் ஒரு சிறப்பு மருந்தின் செய்முறை பற்றி விளக்குகிறது.அனைவராலும் அறியப்பட்ட இந்த நூலை இயற்றிய சித்தர் இந்த மருந்தை மற்ற மருந்துகளுடன் ஒரு மண்டலம் உட்கொண்டால் ஊனக்கண்ணால் விமானத்தில் செல்லும் தேவர்களை காணமுடியும் என்று கூறுகிறார், மேலும் 48 நாட்களுக்கு மேலுண்டால் நீண்டகாலம் வாழ முடியும் என்றும் கூறுகிறார்
Extent and Format of Original Material
Size of the manuscript : 14.5cm x 3.3cm. The text is formed of 30 palm leaves among them only two are numbered. The manuscript is in excellent condition with a few traces of larvae.
The manuscript contains 32 palm leaves of 12-14 lines per leaf. It has two wooden boards.
