Description
The manuscript is composed of three texts, among them two are written in prose and one as veda mantra.
Text 1- The text contains only 2 leaves which is written as vēta mantra. They inform us about the vēta mantras for worshipping goddesses (tēvatai) of Navakrakā (nine planets). This form of writing is called as Cuktā. Mantra’s to worship goddess of south lunar node (Kētu tēvatai), goddess who is responsible for longevity of life (Āyur tēvatai) and mantra used for blessing others (Ācirvātamantrā) are described.
Text 2- The text contains 5 leaves, each of different dimensions. The text carries information about the lease details and agreement of credit of an individual person. Each leaf has different agreement details and promising notes written in different year and date.
1st leaf- the agreements were written during the year 1039, Vaikāci mātam 28 tēti
2nd leaf- The agreement is written in the year 986, Vaikāci mātam 3 ām tēti
3rd leaf- The agreement is written in the year 1100,30 ām tēti
4th leaf- The agreement is written in the year 1033, Māci mātam 19 ām tēti
5th leaf- The agreement is written in the year 1030, Cittirai mātam 3ām tēti.
All the above agreements carries the detail of the both the party who give and borrowing money, or else property details, amount of cash borrowed, if it is land about the measurement and dimension of the land, time, witnesses, the person who writes the agreement all are found. These procedures are followed even now when borrowing money or when buying or selling a property.
The information in one of the leaf is given below; Iam Māyāṇṭiyēṉ son of Curaikoṭiyāṉ who belongs to Puṟacēri of Atiyamēṭukōvil is borrowing a amount of three and half rupees from Nayaṉār Kriṣṇapaṭṭar Varataṉ who stays in Veṅkaṭanātaṉ kōvil on Vaikāci mātam 28th in the year 1039. I promise that I will pay the interest of the borrowed amount regularly, if not I will work in their house and compensate it.
Text 3- The text contains 8 leaves which carries information’s about the personnel account details of an individual. The account revealed here is believed to be the account of construction of house.
The details in the text are :
Rent for vehicle for carrying dried coconut leaf (olai)- 1¼ rupees
Cost of red brick- 1 rupee
Rent for vehicle carrying wooden logs- 1 rupee
Rent for vehicle carrying iron rod - 1 1/4 rupee
Rent for vehicle for carrying black brick- 2 rupee.

Extent and Format of Original Material
Size of the manuscript : 48.5cm x 4.0cm. It is composed of a set of 18 leaves of diverse sizes. Most of the leaves are in good condition for reading, a few being broken and slightly darkened.
The manuscript contains 18 palm leaves of 8-12 lines. It has no wooden boards.
