The manuscript was copied by Andi, the son of a person named Sarasothi.
Description
The manuscript is constituted of a text of 8 leaves without numbering; the text is incomplete. The manuscript is in good condition; the first leaf and the three last ones have been slightly bitten by rodents but the text is not affected.
The text, written in prose, presents a mantiram to favour the pregnancy (muṭṭa karuvaṅka, literally, fertility of eggs) and mantiraṅkaḷ used in black magic to force a person to shout like an evil spirit (pēy cattam pōṭa) and to dance vigorously (cutti āṭa), i.e. actions indicating that the person is possessed.

எண்கள் இல்லாத 8 ஓலைகளை கொண்ட ஒரு நூலை டையது இந்த சுவடி; இந்நூல் முழுமையானது.இந்த சுவடி நல்ல நிலையில் உள்ளது; முதல் ஓலை மற்றும் கடைசி மூன்று ஓலைகள் மட்டும் எலியால் சிறிதளவு கடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள, ஆனால் நூல் பாதிக்கப்படவில்லை.

Extent and Format of Original Material
Size of the manuscript : 18.5cm x 2.6cm. The 8 palm leaves of the text are not numbered. Two blank leaves are placed at the beginning and at the end of the text. The manuscript is in good condition. The first leaf and the three last ones have been slightly bitten by rodents but the text is not affected.
The manuscript contains 10 palm leaves with 10 to 13 lines per leaf. It has no wooden boards.
System of Arrangement
Rearrangement : part of a bundle of palm leaves of diverse sizes which was divided into 5 manuscripts (MSS_32 to MSS_36).

The manuscript belongs to Dr G. Subash Chandran, an institutional siddha practitioner, who thinks to have collected it from Mr. Gurunathan or Mr. Kamsa, both siddha practitioners (Tirunelveli district). A note in the manuscript specifies that it belonged to a person nammed Maruthu.
