The manuscript contains 266 palm leaves belonging to short texts, written in verses. All the texts are complete. The manuscript is in good condition; a few palm leaves are damaged by larvae or are darkened by fungus infestation. The majority of the texts concerns formulations of medicines attributed to Akattiyar and some other reputed cittarkaḷ such as Maccamuṉi, Rāmatēvar, Koṅkaṇar or Cuntarāṉantar .

Extent and Format of Original Material
Size of the manuscript : 33,5cm x 3,3cm. The palm leaves of the manuscript are numbered in three series : 1 to 22 (2 leaves numbered 3, missing leaves 11 to 13), 1 to 22 and 11 to 265 (missing leaves : 14-22, 131-150, 152, 154-157, 204-205). The organisation of the texts of the manuscript is specified in the description. The manuscript is in good condition; some leaves are slightly damaged by larvae or bees and several are darkened by fungus.
The manuscript contains 266 leaves of 14 to 16 lines per leaf. It has two wood boards.
