Copied from a MS belonging to the GOML, Madras, No. D 5198. There are 7 transcripts (T 0386, T 0387, T 0388, T 0389, T 0390, T 0391, T 0392) are kept together in same bundle. In the colophon of this text the name of the work is mentioned as " vivādārthasaṃgraha ". Though the title page contains the title of this text as aṣṭādaśabhedanirṇayaḥ but at present the title of this text is given as vivādārthasaṃgraha because this is mentioned in the colophon. There are 3 extra pages at the beginning of the text that contain the list of the contents
