This Ms. does not seem to be so old tojustify the date given on fol. 41b (Kollam 1002 Aani 2). Jayantīpurais Tiruccentūr (Tirunelveli Dt., Tamilnāḍu) of which the presiding deity is Subrahmaṇya with his two wives Valli and Devasenā (see J.M.Somasundaram, Tiruchendur-the sea shore temple of Subrahmaṇyam, 1984). This māhātmya, in 18 chapters, is said to form part of the Skandapurāṇa but is not found in the printed texts. This Ms. agrees well with GOML. R. 3126a. See NCC VII p. 182
