In spite of numerous discrepancies in the readings this text seems to be a part of the chapter dealing with the mantra-s of gaṇapati in the tantrasāra of kṛṣṇānanda bhaṭṭācārya. The 1st part which deals with ekākṣaragaṇapatimantra ends with a colophon which is not found in the tantrāsāra text but reads : iti śrītantrasāre ekākṣaragaṇapatividhānaṃ saṃpūrṇam; the 2nd part contains the dhyāna as in tantrāsāra. The worship is to be done using mantra-s in which the seed letter (bījākṣara) of gaṇapati "gaṃ" is to be prefixed
