This Ms. contains the māhātmya of Anādipura (karivalamvantanallur), Tirunelveli Dt. in 28 adhyāya-s. Adhyāya-s 1-9 are said to form part of the Brahmāṇḍapurāṇa and adhy-s. 23-28, of the Bhaviṣyottarapurāṇa. This māhātmya is in the form of conversation between the sage Sūta and sages of Naimiśāraṇya, like śaunaka. Though the Sanskrit text is not available in print, it has been translated into Tamil in verse from by Tirumalai ver kavirāyar (Tirukaruvaittalapurāṇam, Madurai Tamil Sangam Power Press, 1919).Fol.5b contains a fragment of Atulāstuti by a pāndya king. Fols. 177b-178 contain a note on the date and the author of the work, both in Sanskrit and Tamil. Fols.179 and 180 contain the summary of this Māhātmya up to the 20th adhyāya. This is an incomplete repetation of the summary already given in full in the Ms. on fols. 1a-5b
