This text discusses the time for the installation of the liṃga, and for prāyaścitta, homa and upacāra. From the last line on fol. 16a, it is learnt that this text begins with the prāyaścitta from dhvajārohaṇa upto dhvajāvarohaṇa. The colophon on fol. 16a runs as;- iti kāraṇe pratirathabhaṅgasaṃkaṭaprāyaścittapaṭalaḥ. However this treatment is not found in the printed text of the kāraṇāgama where ch.59 iss devoted to this topic
