This text contains a version of mahāsaṃkalpa (determination to do some ritual such as expiatory rite, bathing for some committed sins etc.) which is a part of the ceremony of upākarma (annual sacred thread ceremony). Fly-leaf -Aa contains the table of contaents of the Ms. and the name of its owner. Fly-leaf Ba contains the name of the owner of the Ms. and the fly-leaf Ca contains the name Anantarāma Aiyar (?)
