This text deals with the rituals for the consecration of a temple. The subject is mostly identical with that contained in the kāraṇāgama (pūrva, chap. 70). This topic is dealt with in the vīrāgama (IFI.T. 104 chap. 41), kāmika (pūrva, SIAA. chap. 69), bhīmasaṃhitā (IFI.T.543 pp. 1001-1003)

ataḥ paraṃ pravakṣyāmi vimānasthāpanaṃ param। sarvapāpaharaṃ puṇyaṃ sarvasiddhipradāyakam॥ haimena vātha raupyeṇa tāmreṇa śilayā tathā। iṣṭikādārubhirvātha harmyaṃ kṛtvātha lakṣaṇam॥ uttarāyaṇakāle tu śuklapakṣe śubhe dine। subhavārādibhiryukte pratiṣṭhāṃ samyagācaret॥ vimānasthāpanahīne tena harmyeṇa niṣphalam। tasmāt sarvaprayatnena prāsāde sthāpanaṃ kuru॥
