This text deals with the preliminary purificatory rituals related to śivapūjā namely bhūtaśuddhi, sthānaśuddhi and dravyaśuddhi (the two others mantraśuddhi and liṅgaśuddhi are omitted, see no. 65.1). Fol. 1a has a few lines treating saurapūjā and a reference to tejaścaṇḍapūjā. Though the first fol. is numbered as one, the abrupt beginning of the treatment in this fol. suggests that a portion of this treatment is lost

pādau hastau prakṣālya ācamya bhasmadhāraṇaṃ kṛtvā 'sivāgre kūrmāsanopari udaṅmukha upaviśya prāṇāyāmatrayaṃ kṛtvā tataḥ bhūtaśuddhiṃ kuryāt। oṃ laṃ pādādijānvantasthacaturaśrarūpabrahmādhipataye hṛdayāya pṛthivyai namaḥ।
