Miscellaneous Notes
Tiruvācaka is a Tamil poetic work composed by māṇikkavācaka in praise of lord śiva. Fols. 1a-2b contain the tirukkalukkunnrrappatika, (tiruvācaka 30) and fols. 3a-5b, the tiruppaLLiyelucci, (tiruvācaka 20). These two parts seem to be added to this Ms. which deals mainly with daily ritual in a temple, as the second one is sung in the morning in temples in general, but the first one in the temple at tirukkalikkunnrram at the end of the daily pūjā. Perhaps this Ms. as a whole, may be a hand-book of a priest of tirukkalukkunram
