saurañcāndramasañcaiva dvividhaṃ parikīrtitam। meṣādimīnapañcamāgachet sauramāsakam। tithyādi vasatiścandraścāndramāsamiti smṛtam। bhūmerdakṣiṇabhāge tu sauramāsaṃ praśastakam। uttare bhūmibhāge tu cāndramāsaṃ praśastakam।
