This text deals with the 6 circles (ṣaṭcakra), mūlādhāra, svādhiṣṭhāna, maṇipūra, anāhata, viśuddha and ājñākhya. According to the colophon on p. 93, this text forms part of the śrītattvacintāmaṇi of pūrṇānandayati. It is held by some scholars that this text forms part of the kaivalyakalikātantra according to a commentator and as pūrṇānanda's commentary on the virupākṣapañcāśikā of virupākṣanātha, according to others. The author of the text is also held to be brahmānanda. Some Mss. call this text as yogavivaraṇa and others as yogaprakaraṇa. The name of the commentator is called rāmavallabha or nandarāma or śaṃkara. Yet the names of the 2 commentaries included in this text are not known. The text ṣaṭcakranirupaṇa with the commentary of śaṃkara is published in Vol. IX. 1922. This text brings quotation from many śāktatantra texts
