This text contians 8 paṭala-s of the kāraṇāgama. They are : 1. vāstuśāntividhi, 2. rakṣoghnavidhi, 3. praveśabali, 4. mṛtsaṅgrahaṇavidhi, 5. aṅkurārpaṇavidhi, 6. pratiṣṭhāvidhi, 7. jalādhivāsavidhi and 8. nayanonmīlanavidhi. The colophons, except the last one mention the kāraṇāgama as contianing these paṭala-s. None of these paṭala-s could be traced to the printed edns. of the kāraṇāgama (pūrva and uttara). No. 86.3 treats praveśabali, the colophon mentioning the kāraṇāgama as the source but this is not found in the printed edns. of this āgama. At most it can be said that these are the summarised versions of these topics based on the kāraṇāgama

bālasthāne sabhāsvaviśvapitre yāgakārye ca śilāsaṅgrahaṇ'pi ca rathārohaṇakāle ca anyeṣu śubhakarmasu vāstuśāntiṃ prakurvīta। śuddhyarthaṃ sarvakarmaṇāṃ tathā vāstuhomārthaṃ devasyāgre maṇṭapam।

tat sarvaṃ gomayāliptaṃ puṇyāhaṃ prokṣaṇaṃ kuru vāstupūjāvihīnañ ca vāstu naśyati ta(t)kṣaṇāt vāstupūjāṃ prakartavyā vāstu vṛddhikārī bhavet। evaṃ yaḥ kurute martyā(as)sa puṇyāṃ gatim āpnuyāt। iti kāraṇe pratiṣṭhātantre vāstuśāntividhipaṭalaḥ॥ śubham astu॥
