This text contains 2 paṭala-s forming part of the kāraṇāgama. They deal with the śivarātripūjāvidhi and śivarātriprāyaścitta respectively. Fly-leaf 'a' contains a fragment of some vedic mantra; two unnumbered leaves at the beginning give a list of things required for abhiṣeka, etc.; Fol. 1 contains some passages from the kāmikāgama, the vīratantra and the kumāratantra regarding the fixing of the day of śivarātri
Manuscript Beginning
atha vakṣye viśeṣeṇa śivarātrivrataṃ caret। nakṣatrāṇi tithīnāñ ca udaye tirthasaṃgrahe। māghakṛṣṇavaturdaśyāṃ śivarātriṃ supūjayet।
Manuscript Ending
upavāsavihīne ca tat pūjā niṣphalan tathā। śāntihoman tataḥ kṛtvā prathamaṃ sarvam ācaret। śivamantrajapāhasyam(?) pūjayet tu sadāśivam। evaṃ yaḥ pūjayen nityaṃ sa puṇyāṃ gatim āpnuyāt। iti kāraṇe pratiṣṭhātantre śivarātriprāyaścittavidhipaṭalaḥ।
