Miscellaneous Notes
The title of the manuscript is wrongly described as māghamāhatmyam (pādme) on the bundle, at the colophone of the 38th chapter and on the left side of fol. 1a. In fact māghamāhatmyam is the first chapter of the Padmapurāṇa. However all the readings of the colophons of the chapters of 1-38 : 'itiśrī pādme purāṇe etc.'

Fol - 1a, l - 1; śubhamastu। avighnamastu। māghapurāṇam। vāgīśādyāssumanasassarvātyanāmupakrame। yannatvā kṛtyā syustannamāmi gajānanam। śuklāmbaradharaṃ viṣṇuṃ śaśivarṇañcaturbhūjam prasannavadanadhyāyet sarvavighnopaśāntaye। sadāśiva tam vande vidārita vipatbharaṃ। mude jagatrayī mūlakāraṇānanam। vande vadāvadajanārccita pādapadmamindoḥ kalādharamibhānanamiśaśūnuṃ।

Fol - 111a, l - 1; yaśśṛṇoti sadā loke śivalokamavāpnuyāt। iti śrī pādme purāṇe pradoṣodyāpanatannāmoṣṭatriṃśaddhyāyaḥ। ānandavallīdevisameta śrīsamadhīśvarasvā.ṃnenaṃ। sādhāraṇanāmasaṃvatsaraṃ etat kṛṣṇavakṣam caturdarśibhaumavāraṃ uttarāṣāḍhānakṣatra induśubhadinattivasa māghapurāṇaṃ saṃpūrṇam। pañcākṣaraṃ svahastalikhitaṃ। bind…pibha sarga vithīkā। śrīgaṃgapadmeti padabhedadūṣaṇam hastavega…mabuddhipurvakaṃ kṣantumarhati samīkṣa sajjanaḥ।
