Fol - 1a, l - 1; śṛṇu pārtha pravakṣyāmi śraddhābhaktīsamanvitaḥ । amāvāsyā somavāravratodyāpanamuttamaṃ । sarveṣāṃ vratarājānāṃ udyāpanavidhiḥ kramāt । phalaṃ bhavati te pārtha saphalāśca manorathāḥ ।

Fol - 8b, l - 3; yaṃ yaṃ kāmayate nityaṃ taṃ taṃ āpnotyasaṃśayaḥ । ihaiva bhijān prāpnoti viṣṇusāyujyamuttamaṃ । yuktavānevamevaṃ hi bhīṣṭaḥ pārthasya pṛcchataḥ । iti bhaviṣyottarapurāṇe amāvāsyāsomavāravratodyāpanavidhiḥ । śrīkālabhairavāya namaḥ । śrīmarakataṃbāsametasatyanātheśvarasvāmine namaḥ । hariḥ oṃ । śubhamastu ।
