Prayogādarśa - Aparaprayoga

There are 9 extra folios at the beginning of this bundle, of which the first two folios record certain text pertaining to piṇḍadāna and remaining 7 folios record contents of this text. In pagination number 97 has been repeated on two folios and no. 262 has been repeated on three folios. There is a small folio after fol.255, which is also numbered 255. A brief note on the author of this text and his works has been given on p.2294 of the Triennial Catalogue of Manuscripts, GOML, vol.II, part - 1, Sanskrit - c, 1917, which reads: "Kanakasabhapati, son of Vidyānātha of Maudgalyagotra, wrote at first a work, called Kārikāmañjarī, which is a metrical manual of procedure relating to the Bodhāyanasūtra. He also compiled a Mantrānukramaṇi or index of the Mantras used in the rituals. He then proceeded in this work (prayogādarśa) to explain them by quoting from the Sūtras and Smṛtis." Also it has been mentioned on the same page that there are two parts of this prayogādarśa viz. pūrvaprayoga and aparaprayoga.
