There are two extra folios at the beginning of this text, of which the first folio records a benedictory verese and the title: pradoṣavratodyāpanavidhi on its recto and two lines pertaining to bodhāyanaśrāddhavidhi on verso; and the second folio records statements from kāmikāgama pertaining to the list of fordbidden acts in temple. It seems that this text has two main parts, viz. pradoṣavrata (fols.1-7) and pradoṣavratodyāpana (8 -25). In fact, this text ends on fol.25a; but 26 - 31 record " dravyāhutikrama " which has been included in this text with an assumption that this section might have been scribed in relation to the agnikārya of pradoṣavratodyāpana

Fol - 1a, l - 1; vasiṣṭaḥ । śṛṇu rājan pravakṣyāmi tri[tra]yodaśyāṃ vidhikramam। śivena yatpurā proktaṃ śailarājasutāṃ prati। tadadadyāhaṃ pravakṣyāmi tvayī priyakareṇa vai। devī। samyagukta tvayā nārya pradoṣamahimā tu me। śivaliṃgasya pūjāyāḥ phalañcāpi viśeṣataḥ। udyāpanavidhiṃ caiva śrotumicchāmahe vayam।
