(d'après les mémoires de William Hickey) The article includes a portrait of Suffren and a fascmile of a manuscript in his handwriting. 4) Y.R. Gaebelé - Du nouveau sur la famille d'Ananda Ranga Poullé (trois documents inédits). 5) M. et Mme J.M. Casal - Fouilles de Mouttrepaleom et Soutoukani. 6) This is followed by a series of 15 short articles on Pondicherry by G. Jouveau-Dubreuil.

Diagou (tr.) - Le Ramayana de Kambar (French translation of the 5th book, i.e. the Sundarakanda, of the Kamba Ramayana). The volume ends with the financial reports of the SHIF for the years 1948-49 and 1950-1951.
