Sandhyāvāhana

This text describes an aspect of the annual festivals in temples. Presiding deities of the cardinal points āre invoked and invited to participate in the conduct of festivals and receive the favour of śiva. Musical instruments are to be sounded then accompanied by dancing according to specific tāla-s. The vedic hymns relating to each deity and śloka-s referring to it are recited.
