Dīptāgama - Śivotsavavidhi

This text contains the treatment of śivotsavavidhi in 15 paṭala-s which are known from the colophons as forming part of the dīptāgama, the 6th mūlāgama. There are 9 T.Mss. with nos. 15, 147, 257B, 513, 929, 1006, 1008, 1018 and 1024. This text agrees with T.1018.T.1024 does not deal with the topic śivotsavavidhi. T.513 has the ch. 60 and 61 dealing with the subjects 1 and 2 (given in the contents) and an incomplete ch.3. All others do not treat yāgamaṇḍapalakṣaṇa. There is a chapter named utsavatīrthādhivāsavidhi between ch. 12 and 13 treated in T.15, 257B and 1008. The paṭala-s in T. 147, 257B, 929 and 1008 are numbered but there is no uniformity as one or 2 paṭala-s are not numbered. Though this text and all other T.Mss. treat the same topic, there is no agreement in the extant text of some chapters between this text and the T.Mss. Fols. 60 and 62 (marginal nos.) between fols. 55 and 56 are missing. Conscequently the treatment of balividhāna has lost much portion
