This text lays down the procedur for worshipping the earthen liṅga. Such liṅga is prepared by mud or sand (saikataliṅga) just for the personal daily worship and this is discharged at the end of the worship. This is similar to Cat. no. 69.8 but distinct from it. This is also different from IFi.T.4. pp.585-592. Cures for certain diseases like consumptio are stated to result from the worship of this liṅga

..........kevalasamiśra.......janaṃ trividhaṃ tathā। śivāgamaistathā śuddhaṃ ye........ktaṃ ............vat। nigamāgamasammiśraṃ pūjayet dvijasattamān। sāṅgopāṅgañ ca pratyaṅgaṃ pūjayet trividhām ata......śaucādisnānajapyān tu sāṅgañ ceti prakīrtitam। pūjopakaraṇadravyaiḥ upāṅgañ ceti kīrtitam। mantratantrakriyādhyānaṃ so'haṃ (sāṅgaṃ?) pratyaṅgam ucyate॥

vendhu (?)m(vaiḍuryaṃ?)vṛddhikarandadhnaḥ jalarogaharaṃ ghṛtam। kṣayaroga ma sarvārtham bāṇaliṅgakam। bāṇaliṅgasamo puṇyam anaupamyaṃ dvijottamaḥ। nāsti liṅga.......ṇādadanyat puṇyam apyadhikaṃ kvacit। iti vijñāya yatnena pūjanīyaṃ(ḥ ?) sadāśivaḥ। iti pārthivaliṅgapūjāvidhiḥ॥
