Miscellaneous Notes
This text deals with the installation of the vimāna in the śiva temple. It agrees well with the vimānasthāpanavidhi dealt with in ch. 70 of the printed edn. (CP) of the kāraṇāgama (pūrva). The printed edn. calls this paṭala as simply vimānasthāpanavidhi. The text under notice begins with śloka 16b of the printed edn. and is identical with the printed text for the ending portion. It is interesting to note that in the colophon it is mentioned vināyaka maheśvarasamvāda. Normally it is considered as prajāpati-śivasamvāda. This Ms. contains both old and new leaves and writing is more than in one hand

naṃ harmyaṃ kuryāt tenaiva vahninā। prāsādantantunāvekṣya(-veṣṭya?) darbhamālābhirāvṛtam॥ sthūpādyupānaparyantaṃ navavastraiḥ praveṣṭayet। dukūlapaṭṭavastraiś ca kārpāsaiś ca vibhūṣayet॥ vedyūrdhve sthaṇḍilaṃ kṛtvā aṣṭadroṇaiś ca śālibhiḥ। pūrve tu raktamālyaiś ca dakṣiṇe śvetamālyakaiḥ॥ apare kṛṣṇamālyiś ca saumyāyāṃ pītamālyakaiḥ। tadardhais thaṇḍilair bhūṣya tad ardhaiś ca tilair api॥

naivedyaṃ dāpayitvā tu tāmbūlan dāpayet tataḥ॥ utsavaṃ kārayet pa'scāt pūrvoktavidhina saha। evaṃ yaḥ kurute kartyassa puṇyāṃ gatim āpnuyāt॥ iti kāraṇe pratiṣṭhātantre vināyakamaheśvarasaṃvāde īśavimānasthāpanavidhipaṭalaḥ॥ hariḥ oṃ। śubham astu॥
