Miscellaneous Notes
This text is called in the colophon as devīpratiṣṭhā, forming part of the kāraṇāgama; but the printed text kāraṇa (uttara) CP. ch. 84. does not contain this text. Besides, the text begins with a glorified description of the kailāsa mountain with śiva there attended by gods and sages. At the request of the latter, śiva gives a description of the stūpikā (pinnacle) in the shrine of devī. This is different from no. 241.4. This text does not thus seem to deal with the topic given in the title

kailāsācalanāmake girivare bṛndārakāṇāṃ gaṇais saṃsevye munisiddhasaṃsavilasatdhyānālayaiś 'sobhite। śrīman nāradagītaśabdanibiḍe śrīkaṇṭhaliṅgālaye divyaṃ harmyavaraṃ prabhāditaraviṃprodyatsahasrāṃśukkam॥ tasmin devavinirmite maṇimaye śrīcandrakāntopalastambhaiṣṣoḍaśakairvirājitamahatsiṃhāsanaṃ bhāsvaraṃ। digdantyaṣṭakasaddhṛtaṃ kalimalapradhvaṃsisandarśanāt tasmin parvatakanyayā saha śivastiṣṭhatyakhaṇḍātmakaḥ।

oṃ śrīṃ viṣṭātmyanyai namaḥ। oṃ śrīṃ vikṛtātmanyai namaḥ। oṃ śrīṃ māhātmyanyai namaḥ। ete vai śaktayaḥ proktā āyudhānāṃ daśa kramāt॥ iti kāraṇe pratiṣṭhātantre devīpratiṣthāvidhipaṭalaḥ॥ hariḥ oṃ। śubham astu। 'srī gurubhyo namaḥ। sahāyadāmnīsameta śrī tanunātheśvarasvāmine namaḥ। siddhārthi va citramāsaṃ 32d।
