This text written in verse form by one dāmodara, son of nīlakaṇṭha, deals elaborately with mantra-s of vīrabhadra, durgā, kārtavīrya and others. The text is in the form of an interlocution between the preceptor and the disciple. It is the same as GOML.D. 8012 and complete. It has 13 paṭala-s. The colophon of the 11th paṭala claims to be that of the 10th. Fly-leaf 2a has the title mantrasārasaṃgraha; fly-leaf 3a, the names of deities whose mantra-s are given in the first text; fol. 81a, a few lines probably from some purāṇa; fols. 99a-101a, an incomplete account of mahāśāstṛmantra and yantra; fol. 110, some mantra-s in Tamil; fol. 111 has the fragment of bbhairavamantra(Tamil and Sanskrit)

mahitamuktitalālayam iṣṭadamahiṣamūrdhanīlasat padapaṅkajam। manasi ....... mama ....... danasodarīṃ ........ dhāma maheśvarijīvitam। atha kadā sukhāsīnan dhyāyan da[ta]ṃ brahma śāśvataṃ। kṛtamahoccarājāpa(?) svādhyāyaLa(?) vilaṇṭiyam(?) bhasmoddhūlitasarvāṅgaṃ tripuṇḍrojjvalamastakam। akṣamālākṛtottaṃsaṃ graiveyavalayānvitam। śuklamālyāmbaradharaṃ śuklayajñopavītinam।

pūjāvidhis sakalalokamaheśvarasya saṃkṣepo rigatitā(?) kṛtavīryasūnoḥ। rakṣākaro nikhiladhānyadharā dhanādyais [s]phītāṃ prayacchati ramām acalān narāṇām। iti mantrasāre trayodaśaḥ paṭalaḥ। svarayugmaṇḍalodare caturacaturo vāṃ mantrasyāsya yathākra(?) śrīmahāgaṇapataye nāmḥ।
