Miscellaneous Notes
Four texts said to be part of the kāraṇāgama are given here. They are 1. ārdrāvrata; 2. amāvāsyāpūjā; 3. grahaṇapūjāvidhi; 4. vārapūjāvidhi. Between grahaṇapūjā and vārapūjā there are some lines which describes the procedure of wirship during saṃkramaṇa(?)
Manuscript Beginning
.......... ṇa ārdrāvratam aśeṣataḥ। mārgaśīrṣamāse tu ārdrāyāṃ vratam ācaret। ārdrāyāṃ parvayuktañ cottaman tu praśasyate। parvayuktavinā cet tu ........ m evavā। ekamāsye dvipakṣe tu antyarkṣe vratam ācaret।
Manuscript Ending
pūrvayāmāntam ārabhya udayāntaṃ samācaret। ārogyam āyuḥ kīrtiñ ca śrīkaraṃ vijayan tataḥ। putralabhyañ ca saudadhyam(?) ete vāraphala[laṃ] smṛtaḥ[tam]। vārapūjāvidhiḥ proktā[taḥ] pradoṣapūjām ( )vidhiṃ śṛṇu। iti kāraṇe vārapūjāvidhipaṭalaḥ।
