The ātmārthaprāyaścittavidhi forms part of the ātmārthapūjāpaddhati compiled in the 16th century by nigamajñāna. It lays down the procedure for undertaking the rituals of expiation for the shortcomings that occur while performing personal worship done generally in one's house. It contains citations from kālottara, kāmika, cintyaviśva, ṣaṭsāhasrikā, sūkṣma, tilakaparameśvara etc. The text under notice contains 4 more śloka-s (beyond the concluding one) than the work as given in IFI.T. 371 (see aboe)
