uttarāyaṇakāle 'subhadine śuklapakṣe sumuhūrte śubhavāre tu kūpasthāpanamārabhet। tadyathā kūpasya pūrve vā uttare vā (prapām) kṛtvā vedikāyāṃ sasūtrān sāpidhānān phalapallavahemakūrcasaṃyuktān kumbhānastreṇa prakṣālya gandhatoyenāpūrya aṣṭakumbhānaṣṭadikṣu saṃsthāpya madhye ekakumbhaṃ saṃsthāpya madhyakumbhe - oṃ hāṃ manonmanyāsanāya namaḥ। oṃ hāṃ manonmanīmūrtaye namaḥ।
