This text contains 4 paṭala-s from the kāraṇāgama(pūrva). Above mentioned first paṭala is not found in the printed edn. CP. It is included in IFI.T.449, pp.111-113 but with much difference. It deals with the installation of śiva with devī, umā, lakṣmī, viṣṇu and brahmā. The second paṭala deals with the installation of gangādhara with gaṅgā on the head. This is similar to the printed edn. CP, pp.461-467. The third paṭala lays down the procedure for installing caṇḍeśa, one of the devotees of śiva. The fourth paṭala deals with the installation of brahmā. This agrees with IFI.T.449, pp.121-125. In published IFP. Descriptive Catalogue four paṭala-s are written as separate text

Manuscript Beginning
atha vakṣye viśeṣeṇa somaśrīviṣṇupadmajaḥ। sthāpanantu maheśasya sarvakāmārthasādhanam। ratnanyāsaṃ prakartavyaṃ sarveṣāṃ kārayet pṛthak। śivayoḥ pūrvavat kuryāt tayorviṣṇuviriñ cayoḥ। pañcarākt(tn)lotādimadhyādivinyaseduttarāntakam।

pādyamācamanañ cārghyaṃ gandhapuṣpañ ca dīpakam। dīpañ caiva nivedyañ ca svasvasamulena mantravit। prabhūtahaviṣandattvā sarveṣāñ ca yathākramam। iti kāraṇe pratiṣṭhātantre soma'srīviṣṇupadmajasthāpanavidhipaṭalaḥ।
