This text contains the treatment of śītakumbhavidhi, which is to be performed when there is drought and famine affecting animal also. This is to be done in vaiśākha month. This is called vaiśākhamāsaśītakumbhavidhi in the printed text (SIAA) of the kāmikāgama (uttara) ch. 15. The deities in the temples are to be given special bath as described in this text which would result in heavy down-pour of rain.
