Before this text folios 87a - 90b record fragments of different subject matters viz. ārdrānirṇaya, bhasmadhāraṇavidhi etc. In fact, this text deals with rites viz. mṛtsaṃgrahaṇa, aṃkurārpaṇa, rakṣābandhana, vṛṣabhapratiṣṭhā, bherītāḍana and triśūlapūjā; but assuming that vṛṣabhapratiṣṭhā would be the main rite and others are subsidiary this text has been titled vṛṣabhapratiṣthāvidhi

Fol - 91a, l -1; athācamyā[atha ācamya] sakalikṛtya sāmānyārghyaṃ saṃsādhya nadītīre taṭāke vā kedāre parvate vane valmīkāgre vitānādyupaśobhitevastānaśuddhiṃ vidhāya vighneśvarapūjapurassaraṃ[pūjāpurassaraṃ] puṇyāhaṃ vācayitvā ātmasthānaśuddhiṃ kṛtvā catuṣpadikṛtabhūtale astreṇa samprokṣya agneyādiṣu oṃ hāṃ brahmaṇe namaḥ

Fol - 96b, l - 5; daṇḍamūle stitvā[sthitvā] āropitaparicārakama āhūya arghyajalena saṃprokṣya svayadauspṛṣya mūrtipaiḥ saha vṛṣagāyatrī yā śīghram āropayet savyakrameṇa veṣṭanaṃ kṛtvā . ṇḍamūle bandhayet diśi dikṣu śuddhanṛttaṃ kāyaṃ । iti dhvajārohaṇavidhiḥ samāptaḥ śivamayaṃ । kauśikagottiraṃ kāśivāsī vetācalaguroḥ putrasyā[putrasya] somasundaraguroḥ svahastalikhitam ।
