This text contains the śloka-s which are to be meditated upon while performing worship to every one of the five enclosures(āvaraṇa). The word āvaraṇa means enclosure encircling a deity, here śiva, with the aṅga-s such as hṛdaya and others, vidyeśvara-s, lokapāla-s and the weapons of the lokapāla-s. The matter which is dealt with in the text under notice is contained in pp.351-358 0f the printed edition of the śivaliṅgapratiṣṭhāvidhi, (Tiruvaiyaru, 1924). This text contains the dhyānaśloka-s of each enclosure. The printed text calls it pañcāvaraṇapūjā. Fols. 5-7 and 10 (original numbers) are missing. The treatment of no enclosure is complete. The text breaks off in the treatment of the 5th āvaraṇa. This is different from no. 76.10
