This text deals with the method of fixing a day favourable for any religious rite. This agrees with T.811 pp.1-5. There is another work with this name which is stated in the colophon in T.1023(p.19), as forming part of the kriyādīpikā. However this text does not have any agreement with T.1023. There is no chapter with the name muhūrtavidhāna in the printed edn. of the text of the kriyādīpikā of śivāgrayogin, Madras 1900

ataḥ paraṃ pravakṣyāmi devatāsthāpanaṃ param। ayane cottare kuryāt kumbhamāsaṃ vivarjayet। taduttarāyaṇe śreṣṭhaṃ dakṣiṇetvatha(dhma?)ṃ matam। mārgaśīrṣakamāmḍhyaṃ proṣṭhamāghaṃ vivarjayet। kumbhāñ ca kanyākaṭakañ ca cāpaṃ saṃsthāpanīyā aśubhaṃ karoti(?)। anyatra māse śubhakarma kuryāt garbhapraeśe nayanapratiṣṭhā ayanandakṣiṇanneṣṭaṃ praśastañcottarāyaṇam ॥
