Miscellaneous Notes
This text contains a chapter on jīrṇoddhāra (renovation) forming part of the kāśyapa as mentioned in the colophon. It is not traceble to teh kāśyapa, TSMS. no.122. There are 65 texts in this Ms. Among these 26 deal with the act of renovation of temples. 21 agree with the printed editions of the āgamas as well as with the IFP.T.Mss. Among the other texts many claim to be part of a particular āgama as mentioned in the colophon. For instance, 4 texts (386.2, 21, 23 and 24) dealing with jīrṇoddhāra, said to be part of the yogajāgama, have nothing ommon among themselves. Similarly texts with no. 386.19, 20, 26 and 28 dealing with the jīrṇoddhāra are stated to form part of the kāraṇāgama but only the first concords with the printed text. IFP.T. 1074 is a transcript copy of this manuscript

jīrṇoddhāravidhiṃ vakṣye sthānahīnāni kālake। sāgare nadīvāse.......vahe। kecid ācāryahaste tu tyaktvā deśaṃ vidhīyate। catvāriṃśatibhiś caiva śatahastaṃ tu kārayet। viṃśattriṃśatibhir daṇḍaiḥ catvāviṃśāntadaṇḍakam। pañcā[a]daśādhikaviṃśat triṃśatdṛjjos ru(?) vartanāt। uttarāpūrvavṛddhis syāt। kartā rūpya purāvidhiṃ kartāpi vṛddhidaṃ kuryāt। śrīsaubhāgyakaraṃ paraṃ pūrvato vṛddhidaṃ caiva daparājaguṇaṃ bhavet(?) dakṣiṇe vṛddhidaṃ kuryāt yamadeśaṃ prayānti ca।

tasmād deśaṃ vā saṃsthāpya parameśvaram। yajamānecchyā vāpi tatra sthāne viśeṣataḥ। punas saṃsthāpaye[n] mantrī vidhinā pūrvacoditam। sthāpya beraṃ śucau deśe bhavanaṃ kārayet tataḥ। pratiṣṭhākarmakāryeṇa pūrvam evaṃ krameṇa tu। harmye ca gopure dvāre bhittiprākāram eva ca। iti kāśyape jīrṇoddhāravidhipaṭalaḥ। śrīsomasundaragurave namaḥ।
