This text deals with mudrā and its varities and forms part of the svacchandatantra which is prevalent particularly in Kashmir (vide. S.C.Benerjī, History of Tantra Literature, pp. 398-400). This corresponds to ch. 14 of the svacchandatatnra, IFP.T.1032, pp.349-352 and the printed edition, paṭala XIV, vol. IV, Sanskrit Gian Samsthan, 1986

mudrāṇāṃ lakṣaṇaṃ vakṣye yasmiṃś caiva yathā sthitam। utta[ā]nām añjaliṃ kṛtvā kapālaṃ parikīrtitam। tiryak kṛtvā kare varaṃ kaniṣṭhānāmamadhyamā। aṅguṣṭho nokramed devi ṛjuṃ kṛtvā pradarśinī।

tisraḥ prasāritāṅgulyaḥ kaniṣṭhānāmamadhyamā। aṅguṣṭhenākame.........ṣsamudrāhṛtaḥ। mudrā.......ṣamākhyātā.........ṣanam ārūḍhā devadattavarānane। svanāmākṛti vinyasya namaskārāvasānakam[kaḥ]। sādhyanti mahādevi phalāni vividhāni ca। nirvighnakaraṇaṃ khyātaṃ mudrāṇāṃ lakṣaṇaṃ priye। iti śrīmat svacchande mudrādhikāraś caturdaśa vidhipaṭalaḥ। śrīsomasundaragurave namaḥ।
